Marty grew up on Long Island in Northport Village and trained and competed as a gymnast for nine years. He began his transition into theater in the 8th grade when he performed in his first musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
From then on, Marty participated in community theater, acting classes, and doing the school musicals where he found his love of dance. He arrived at the Boston Conservatory in the fall of 2014 where he thrived being in an environment that was so artistically immersive. His first professional job was in the summer of 2016 where he earned a place as a Performance Intern at Maine State Music Theater. This experience taught him an incredible amount about working in the professional world and lead him to more professional work the following summer. Marty is a joyful, positive, enthusiastic person who cares first and foremost about keeping the energy in a group fun, friendly, respectful, and bright!
